Mushroom supplements consist of one or more of the following: mycelium on grain, pure mycelium, or mushroom fruiting bodies. Studies show the stark differences in compounds present in mycelium versus mushrooms— showing that mushrooms are much higher in potency and chemical variety than mycelium or mycelium on grain. That is why at Oasis, we stick to only using the actual mushroom fruiting body. Mycelium-only end products often contain grain powder or starch, which creates watered down and less potent product.

When we say 100% fruiting bodies, we mean just that! Mushroom supplements usually consist of mycelium on grain, mushrooms, or a combination of the two. At Oasis, we stick to only using mushrooms, the fruiting body.

You can take adaptogens as herbal supplements in capsule form, added to smoothies as powders, or concocted into teas or soups.

"[To be considered an adaptogen], it must be considered generally safe, non-toxic, and non-habit forming, it must have a nonspecific effect on the body, and it must help normalize systems and bring balance to the body.” You can have too much of anything. It would be very tough to binge on 'a bag of adaptogens' due to their bitter flavor alone—they're not potato chips.

You can certainly combine adaptogens and combining them can even enhance their effectiveness. To start combining adaptogens, research the ones that you feel would have the most impact for you and then use them for a few weeks, noting any changes in how you feel. No. Taking more doesn’t make adaptogens more potent. Adpatogens work by adapting to your body and assisting with natural bodily processes over time.We usually see noticeable results after taking consecutively for two weeks.

Adaptogens aren't like some anti-anxiety medications. You won't take them and immediately notice less stress. Adaptogens take a while to build up and work on the body, so take them for at least two to three weeks before thinking too much about the effect.

Adaptogenic Mushrooms are non-psycho active ingredients that have been used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for years. The ingredients do come from plants but do not have properties that will elicit a "high". Our ingredients are similar to how using turmeric and ginger can be used as a herbal and holistic remedy to reduce inflammation! Yet, turmeric and ginger also do not produce psycho-active effects. This process differs a bit based on how you're shopping. If purchasing on a desktop, once you've advanced from your cart to the checkout page you'll see an option to apply a discount on the right hand side under the list of products currently in your cart.
